A friend's band let me play gig photographer for a night

Up and coming rockers Throwing Needles play an intimate London show

Daryl (in the photos, he's the guy in the black shirt) played in bands adjacent to the bands I played with back in the day in Wellington. Even better, George (the drummer) and I were in the band Phuego together. I'm a huge fan.

We'd kept in touch, we'd all independently moved to London, and although I gave up playing a long time earlier, George and Daryl had both kept it going.

Their latest band, Throwing Needles, were playing an intimate club Punk in London, and I asked the guys if I could photograph the show? Graciously they said yes.

It was a blast, they were great, the singer made for an interesting subject, and these are the photos.
