Seeing Hollie Smith in a tiny venue not long after Long Player was released was truly special.

We had someone send the Long Player CD to us in London, and we loved it, had it on repeat. Seeing Hollie Smith was doing a gig in London, we jumped on it, despite not having heard of the venue. 12 Acklam Road (nee Neighbourhood) was tiny, like we got lost finding it tiny.But once we were in the room, the sweet, sweet soul styling in the intimate setting won our hearts.

We've seen her many times since, but this show, our first time, early in her career - really special.
